What people are saying about Vilnius

Fun, entertaining, friendly, informative and perfect for large group.

I went on this tour with my daughter, age 23, so the cost for 2 people was not very economical. During the course of the evening, we drank less than 2 pints each. However, the guide was especially knowledgeable and friendly. She was well prepared with historical information about the history of beer in general and in Lithuania in particular. We stopped at 2 micro breweries and one pub. The publican at 'Busi Trecias' was especially outgoing and descriptive about his family's business. Our last stop was at 'Jovaro Snekutis' and we enjoyed the dark beer but the light beer seemed to be 'off' and we did not drink it. 'Snekutis' did not interact with us, except to bring the beer. This was disappointing as we were expecting a very interesting and 'chatty character'. Suggest you include a local phone number on your website as I did not have any confidence that the website was legitimate until I called the office in Germany.

A nicely designed and inclusive tour in the very heart of Vilnius. We were taken to all major points of interest and had all the information we needed so as to understand the essence and go deep into the charm of the old city. Most important we were lucky enough to have Anna as our guide, whose really nice smile, kindness and efficiency made our small group (3 people in total) feel like family. Ask Anna to be your guide for this tour and you are not going to regret it! P.S. When in Vilnia river (on the bridge with the lockers just before cross to Uzupis), make her explain you, how couples "kiss" the water!

Interesting tour of a beautiful city enhanced by our Guide

We had an interesting tour of the city brought to life by our extremely knowledgeable guide Kristofer who took us to parts of the city and places of interest we could not have discovered on our own in particular the church of St Peter and Paul. Our guide told us interesting stories of his family and childhood growing up in Vilnius during Soviet times and brought to life the city's rich cultural heritage with his sensitive knowledge and understanding of Lithuanian history. We had an excellent time and the tour enhanced our visit to this beautiful city. Thank you

Tomas provided an excellent, informative tour

The tour included the city's only remaining synagogue, cemeteries, a walk through the ghettos and visits to Holocaust hiding places. With these visits plus Tomas' knowledge and descriptions, we learned a great deal of the growth of this culture and its tragic end in Lithuania. If you are at all interested in history in general or Jewish history in particular, this tour is well worth your time.

The experience is not just a stroll on some path through the woods. If snow is absent, as was the case when I went, you get to hike in the woods, and it can be quite hilly. Happily, my guide brought poles to use in steeper, somewhat muddier areas. What wonderfully views we enjoyed from several high points overlooking Vilnius!
