Beautiful building and magnificent gardens. Easy to find snd good value for money. Would have been nice to have had a cafe where you could sit down with some food and a drink, whilst admiring the surroundings, rather than just having vending machines in a bland corner of a room. Still a great experience.

This place has healed my burned out and anxiety in matters of few hours as I walked by and enjoyed the beauty and the sound of the running wafted. It is one of my favorite places and in my second visit my boyfriend proposed to me in front of one of the fountains. It was perfectly serene and with not many tourists unlike Rome. One of my favorite places on this earth with rich history and beauty of nature and art.

You can also visit the complex's palace which was built for Ippolito II d'Este and painted by famous artists. The whole complex was designed by architect Pirro Ligorio and took more than 20 years to complete.
