This is an outstanding tour. The port tasting was the best- of-the-line quality (Fonseca Porto Siroco Branco Extra Seco & Bin 27 Reserve Port). The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Fonseca from beginning to end. - she was a delight! At the end you’re surprised with a Fado show. The singer was opera quality. She was very interactive and such a happy wonderful person eager to portray her art and its meaning. The instrument players were just above outstanding. They explained the origins of Fado and the importance of maintaining the tempo. An amazing group that worked well together. Thank you for the unforgettable experience. These will be memories to cherish for a long time.
I loved this excursion. I wish we would’ve actually been able to tour the real winery, but I understand that would’ve been much longer. This was a nice taste of how Port is made. I would’ve liked to taste more than just the two offerings. The dinner was fantastic. It was offsite and it was in a beautiful restaurant. Food was delicious. Price was reasonable. The photo show was fantastic. The entertainers were very engaged with the audience and the music was beautiful.
