It was spectacular!! Our guide was very engaging and so kind, the story was very compelling and interesting, and the lava itself was absolutely incredible to witness. There is also delicious food at the location. Overall, every bit was a win!! So SO happy we went!! Thank you for the 8 (or really 12) years of hard work to make this a reality for us to all witness!!!!

We highly recommend this amazing show. The host is so energetic and funny. There’s a short history video after his whimsical introduction and then…REAL lava! Unbelievable!! Once it flows into the room, the host explains all of the properties of the lava and exactly what happens as it cools. Very fascinating and educational!! Many questions were answered afterwards. We’re so happy we booked this. Great for young families.

Experience the thrill of seeing molten lava with this ticket to the Icelandic Lava Show in Vik. Combine an educational experience with fun as you learn about volcanos by recreating an exhilarating eruption. 

Get to the show early to grab some good seats and purchase a cool drink. Witness the recreation a volcano eruption, similar to what the Eyjafjallajökull and Katla volcanos are famous. 

See molten lava which reaches a temperature of 1100°C, pour into the showroom and over ice. It is an epic battle between the elements and a unique opportunity to get close to red-hot lava, see it flowing, hear it sizzling, and feel the intense heat that radiates from it.
