Experience a hiking tour on the beautiful glacier of Sólheimajökull. Cross the vast icy expanse with specialized equipment, and learn about the area with your guide. Meet your guide at the Sólheimajökull parking lot where you will receive all the necessary safety gear and hike towards the glacier. Benefit from a safety briefing as well as a tutorial on how to attach the crampons to your high ankle boots. Explore the impermanent glacier formations as well as crevasses and moulins. This glacier hike tour was phenomenal! The tour guide, Nate, really made the whole experience great. He inspired trust and confidence, and he shared a good deal of knowledge about this glacier.
