Had so much fun doing this tour. The guide Katka was so knowledgeable and I learned so much while having fun! The only negative to this was the microspikes I was given were broken and several peoples broke which could be dangerous. If you have your own definitely bring them! Additionally a lot of the people did not know how difficult the tour could be with hiking on ice. One person gave up halfway through and another had to be slowly guided which resulted in us being late back to the meeting point and thus ruining our dinner plans. Troll should put a disclaimer and advise people afraid of heights or not of a moderate fitness level to not do this! Otherwise everything was great and the vehicle was so cool! Highly recommend to adventure lovers.

Life changing! The activity was well outside my comfort zone. I’m afraid of heights and fairly uncomfortable with enclosed spaces. That said, if you fall into this category, and you’re willing to face your fears it is SO worth it. Our guide was PHENOMENAL! I can’t say enough good things about him.

We were lucky with the weather as outside caves most of the time. There are lots of steps (up and down) cut into the ice but the supplied crampons work well. Ask for a pole if you need help with steps. Some wooden bridges were flexible to say the least! The scenery was marvelous and the guide very helpful. We had a great time :)
