Explore the dramatic landscapes of the south of Iceland on a full-day sightseeing tour by bus. Go to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon outlet of the largest glacier in Europe, leaning about its history and formation from your local guide. Following a pickup from your hotel in Reykjavik, transfer to the southern coast and the dramatic Glacier Lagoon. Enjoy plenty of time to see the floating icebergs and enjoy the stunning scenery. During the season, make sure to reserve your ticket to the boat cruise on the Jökulsárlón and experience the unique Glacier Lagoon spectacle up close. When you prebook, your place is guaranteed. Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is Iceland’s largest and deepest glacier lagoon. It branches from Breidamerkurjokull, an outlet glacier of Vatnajokull, Europe’s largest glacier. Return to Reykjavik, stopping at the gorgeous waterfall Seljalandsfoss. You will visit the Diamond beach with black sand, and there will be an additional stop in Iceland's southernmost village at Vík for dinner.

The trip was wonderful. A great way to see many of the sights of Southern Coast. Dooley, our guide, was delightful and knowledgeable!. The boats on Glacier Bay were a must do.if you are hesitant or thinking about it … definitely add it on ! Worth every cent. Diamond beach, the waterfalls, did not disappoint! But… the lunch stop is a disaster! There are not enough restrooms for women! And they were all disgusting and filthy. And the wait took up most of the 45 minutes. Also, the bus driver suggested “get your food Togo or there will not be enough time to eat it”. So everyone ate on the bus. Better to bring a “own lunch if you can”. The bathrooms at the first stop was also disappointing and dirty. The stop for dinner in Vik was far better! A beautiful store with multiple options for eating and actually close enough to walk to other places in town. Despite the bathrooms the trip was long but oh so fun ! We have based in Reykjavik and are enjoying day trips to further points !

It was an unforgettable experience! Our guide Matt aka MDawg was an engaging and entertaining guide, sharing fascinating geological facts, folklore, and fun tidbits about Iceland that kept us captivated throughout the journey. The tour itself was incredible, hitting all the major highlights like Diamond Beach, Jokulsarlon glacier, and Seljalandsfoss. Matt also rewarded us with two bonus stops at the lava fields and Stjornarfoss, which made the trip even more special. His dedication to sticking to the schedule ensured we had plenty of time to enjoy each location. Overall, I highly recommend this tour and if you get MDawg as your guide, I am sure you'll have a very entertaining and fund tour without realising it's a long 14 hour journey. His passion and knowledge about Iceland truly enhanced our adventure!
