We absolutely loved our guide Steven!! He was so knowledgeable and made the hike a lot more interesting with facts and information about the glacier. He truly made the activity a 5-star experience. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to explore the glacier. The hike was not overly difficult and as long as you do not have major injuries or physical limitations, you should be fine.

The hike is amazing and one of the best I've ever taken! My 14 yo loved it too. The landscape is breathtaking and the whole experience is unforgettable. Our guide Gaia was supergreat: told us everything we needed to know about glaciers while keeping it light and fun, answered all our questions and made sure we were safe using the equipment correctly. It's quite an easy hike for all ages, do not let crampons and ice axes scare you off. You do need hiking boots though, trainers will not do. If u don't have your own - you can rent from the tour operator for 10 eur. Everything was very well organised, we started on time (13:30) and were divided into groups of about 10 people, each with our own guide. We took about 30 min to collect the equipment, then about 90 min to walk from the base camp to the top plateau - with stops for putting crampons on, guidance and pics, and about 1 hour to hike back to the base camp. Overall exactly 3 hours. There is a good toilet at the base camp.

A great way to discover the glacier and learn more about its formation. Our guide (thank you Jorgeous) was incredible, very funny and above all passionate. The hike was well organized while leaving room for a change of route depending on the guide or the glacier. We don't see time passing, especially when the weather is as beautiful as that day. The equipment provided was perfect.
