The 15 seat van was not comfortable. I understand our group was not large but that would have been fine for a short trip but our trip was 2 hours. Maybe a larger van. Our tour guide, Eric was amazing. Very cautious, caring, professional and explained everything before our trip into the ice cave. I couldn't have asked for a better guide. However, our driver, Slavi, was not as professional. He talked more about his personal life than what we were seeing on the way to the ice cave. A friend of ours had been before and was pointing out things that he didn't mention. Like the houses built into the mountain, the plane crash, the frozen river, etc. Besides our driver not being too good, the overall experience was great.
What an amazing experience - and our guide was so cool and humorous! Even the tour with the bus to the cave was memorable. And so fascinating that the guide has made friends with a polar fox - we stopped to give it some food :-) thanks got the best experience!
Everything about the tour was amazing! We loved our tour guide, Helgi. He grew up in Iceland and knows so much about the area. The cave was so beautiful and so incredible to be able to walk into! Would recommend to anyone.
I was very satisfied with this tour, which allowed me to enjoy the natural beauty of the south coast. The guide was very polite and entertaining, and made the tour enjoyable.
