From the foyer, take the grand staircase to the state rooms (the tea salon, Marble Hall, Schwind Foyer, Gustav Mahler Hall) before reaching the auditorium.

Interesting inside tour, perhaps a bit short and crowded (other groups, guided in other languages were crossing our path). Personally, I would have liked to have a bit more time for photos. I would recommend the tour for people who love music and nice architecture and want to enjoy Vienna a little bit off the most beaten tourist trajectories. :)

We were able to enter the building without queuing, 12:30 p.m. But after that groups were formed, depending on the language. It took about 40 minutes for the tour to begin. The tour itself was good and interesting. Unfortunately, it was a bit too fast, so there was hardly any time to take pictures.

It would have been cheaper if we had bought the tickets on the spot. The queue "with ticket" and "without ticket" were the same length. Otherwise the opera is very nice. I wouldn't visit it again because it's actually much smaller and less spectacular. Guide was nice and gave us the most important information.
