Full description

Vienna has a rich history of winemaking, dating back to Roman times. The city's vineyards are located on the hillsides surrounding the city, and Vienna is the only capital city in the world with significant vineyards within its boundaries. A visit to Vienna would not be complete without sampling its delicious cuisine and experiencing the unique flavours of its local wines. At our wine tasting you will get to know and distinguish between 5 traditional wines - what makes them so special and what this has to do with Vienna. The experience is made complete by a small „Heurigenjause“ – a snack traditionally enjoyed with a glass of wine.

Great fun and a lovely way to meet other visitors to Vienna with similar interests. Nice wine and we were left to finish the bottles after the tasting which made it value for money.
