Discover the beautiful Wachau Valley, voted the Best Historic Destination in the World in 2008, on this full–day biking and wine tasting excursion. Enjoy a glorious day of sipping, swirling, and casual cycling through Vienna's most famous wine–making regions. Known for its quality white wines, stunning villages, and breathtaking scenery, the Wachau Valley is the perfect place to enjoy a day away from the bustling city.
Enjoy transportation by Mercedes van then hop on your e-bike to explore with your guide. Breathe in the fresh country air as you cycle by historic towns, charming villages, and spectacular scenery. Stop at local wineries at the end of your tour to sample dry and fruity whites and other delicacies, like the valley's famed apricot jams and liqueurs.
Take time to explore the medieval town of Dürnstein at your own leisure, complete with a castle where Richard the Lionhearted was once held prisoner. Perhaps you would rather swim in the Danube and then enjoy lunch at a local family–run tavern. After your free time, take a relaxing ride by Mercedes van back to Vienna.

- Lunch at a local restaurant is available for an extra €13, payable to your guide on the day of the tour
- The bike route is approximately 25 kilometers long, it is not a strenuous ride, and it is suitable for all ages
- There are stops throughout the tour, with the longest continuous cycle being around 30 minutes
- Your tour departs at 9:30 AM; please arrive 15 minutes before tour departure time
- Your tour returns at around 5:30 PM to the tour office
- At the tour office you have access to free wireless internet and snacks; a selection of hot and cold drinks are available for purchase
- Please remember to dress comfortably for a day of easy biking, bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, swimwear and a towel
