Vienna Pass for 5 people 3 days was good value for money - but you do have to be busy to make it worth it. We only used the Hop on Hop off bus once, and frankly it was a waste of time (much faster and more direct to walk everywhere or use the train). For key sites like Schonnbrun and Hofberg it can be inconvenient as unlike a direct booking, you cannot reserve a time slot (we went to Schonnbrun for 830am which was not well received by teens) as had been warned we might wait hours otherwise to get in. we got in at 8.36am! Also, the ticket only includes the State Apartments and with hindsight we would like to have seen more. Hence the 4* - because at the key sites the pass is not ideal. Overall, we went to so many attractions that we easily got value for the price of the tickets.

  • Service center opening hours are Monday-Sunday from 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
