We bought the 6 day Vienna pass and saved at least 500 pounds We could get on hop on hop off whenever we needed to. we done all the major attractions and a few more including the schonbrunn palace and zoo and the guided tour of the opera house was amazing , the Danube tower Madame tassauds if you want tickets for Spanish riding school best to go early in the morning between 10 and 1045 to get for the next day but to be honest this and the city cruise tour was disappointing and really I was glad I hadn’t paid for it. However loads of museums including kunsthidtorisches which was totally amazing are included in pass definitely saves you money and you skip the line in some.

It was nice, but the website is not updated to reflect what activities are closed for upgrades. Then, there is the skip the lines in some places, but one still has to do a long line to get a ticket. At the Opera House meeting place there are a lot of buses that have different routes and it's confusing and they all are yellow. I asked a staff to guide and he told me to get in the first one, which ended up being not the one I wanted. The seats are comfortable and I really like there are head phones available and you just plug in front of the seat and can listen to the history of the place. The buses are very clean and so are the stations.

I had a 3 day Vienna Pass, which allowed me to see a lot of different things at no extra charge. But there was simply not enough time in the three days to see everything I wanted to see. So if you are here longer, a pass for more than 3 days is definitely worth it. In addition, I was lucky that one of the buses had a stop very close to my hotel, so I almost never had to use public transport. On the 3rd day I was “free” through the pass, so to speak, because I had already seen so much in the first two days.
