It seemed hard to hop on and off as there is too much to see at certain stops and it would be a challenge to match Dutch visits with the bus schedule. However, just staying on the red and blue routes throughout (60 min each) provides an excellent overview of the city as the bus drives through key areas with the general commentary from the audio guide on board. Highly recommend taking the premium package including the additional 2.5 hour walking tour (the guide Charles is fantastic) and evening bus tour (60 min, with live commentary by Charles). Overall, a must if you are visiting Vienna!

You cannot use your phone ticket on the buses you have to get a post stop guide to print it the problem we found is where to find one it was luck. The buses were not very frequent maybe one an hour we waited 25 mins for it to arrive because it was late. They stop at 5pm. It’s a good way to see everything and the commentary was clear and interesting but the service could be improved.

Little time to enjoy the bus, the last one is very early and the night tour is very early, in August it was still daytime ... we did not have time to do the walking tour, as well as by boat ... little information for the tours optional. But it is worth the bus.
