Deter was an excellent guide! He was knowledgeable and well prepared. He kept focused on the topic tying all comments/sites to Hitler's Vienna rather than a general introduction to Vienna. He answered all of our questions. He took care to make sure the participants were comfortable providing places to sit and access to toilets.

Very knowledgeable guide who did not gloss over any of Austria's past and involvement in the rise of facism. She told it how it was. She was very sympathetic and open, and came well prepared with lots of interesting photos. This was an excellent tour and covered a wide range of Vienna's more recent history from the middle of the 19th century onwards. She was able to answer a host of questions from the group and offered reasons and opinions. The length of the tour was just right. I would highly recommend. Thanks for a great afternoon.

Maria Lisa (apologies if I got the name wrong) was excellent!She approached the sensitive topic of so called 'Vienna 7 darkest years' with a balanced combination of tactfulness, honesty and passion! Her knowledge was evident not just in what she tought us (which was so interesting) but also in her responses to quite tricky questions. That same morning we had done an introductory (free) tour by Good Vienna Tours (the same company that offered Hitler's Vienna tour) which was also amazing. I am very pleased that we chose this combination on our first (full) day in Vienna as we came out so excited about what we learnt and feeling that we got quite a round knowledge of this beautiful city (of course there is endless more to learn)!
