I had a great day as a solo traveller. It was a long day, but right from the start our guide Dasha was fun and very informative about the area and the history of the area. She even gave us a little quiz to keep everyone involved. Some people on the bus we're rude and speaking loudly, but Dasha kindly gave them time to be childish, and then continued with the information. Everything was very clear and set out, she gave us advice on where to go, prices of different things through the day. The driver Vitaly was excellent, he drove really sensibly and was so polite. Overall it was one of the best things I did whilst in Vienna and can highly recommend this trip to anyone. Just be mindful of being respectful to the guide and the local people of the beautiful Halstatt.
