Vienna: Evening Concert and Dinner at Schönbrunn Palace

Begin this unforgettable evening with dinner at a restaurant in the Schönbrunn area, where you’ll be served a delicious 3-course meal. In the summer you can enjoy the evening under the open sky. Feast like a king with a view of the castle and get in the mood for the concert.

Mozart himself performed at the Schönbrunn Orangerie. You too have the opportunity to enjoy a concert in this magnificent hall. During the first part of the concert you will listen to the most marvelous overtures, arias, and duets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s concerts and operas, such as The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute, and Don Giovanni.

During the second part of the concert you will listen to the most populate operetta arias, waltzes, and polkas by Johann Strauss, such as Die Fledermaus, The Gypsy Baron, The Blue Danube, and the Radetzky March. The orchestra is accompanied by two opera singers – one soprano and one baritone – as well as charming ballet dancers in historical costumes.

3-course meal menu: 
• Tafelspitz (boiled beef) consommé with semolina dumplings 
• Braised beef roast with shallot sauce, served with Viennese potato cakes and cherry tomato trusses 
• Apple strudel from the Hofbackstube Schönbrunn served with whipped cream
