Vienna: Skip-the-Line Entrance Ticket to the Danube Tower

Was a little concerned about the lift but laughed at the little surprise! Rotating restaurant worth a visit. Views hindered by the weather but that was unavailable and the experience was still worth it.

I visited the tower on a Tuesday which the staff stated was a good day apparently, not too busy. A lift to the viewing platform was appreciated, the ceiling of the lift is clear so don't forget to look upbso you can see your rapid ascent! superb views from the top, overlooking the Danube, maybe it would have been nice to have some indicator boards to point out relevant sights you see. At 6 euros the slide was a short, expensive trip but was really a must, who gets to slide at that height! it brings out the inner child in you!! The cafe was very welcome, and had a somewhat disconcerting feeling till you realise the top revolves. good choice of beverages and food. glorious gardens to walk through at the bottom, only a short walk back to train links to the city.
