In any case, the Shades Tour contained a lot of "basic information" on the subject of homelessness. There are no direct points of contact with homeless people themselves (it's not a zoo tour either). The personal experiences of the guide were particularly exciting - he revealed a lot about his own situation. The tour is 100% recommended. The concept of "social tourism" should definitely continue to be supported and contributes positively to society.

Very entertaining

Our guide's stories were very entertaining, interesting and entertaining. We got a detailed insight into the world of the homeless who live in Vienna. However, the city tour had little to do with a city tour. We had the expectation that Vienna's less crowded places would be shown, but this expectation was not fulfilled. Nevertheless, the tour was interesting, although afterwards we had serious doubts about the representation of our guide's personal life (why he slipped into homelessness). Nevertheless, we liked the tour and we had a lot to talk about afterwards.

Highly recommended!

This is really a tour that everyone should have done once! The personal experiences of the guides make you aware of how quickly everyone can suddenly find themselves without a permanent place of residence without their own fault. The tour clears up common stereotypes of homelessness, provides brief information about numbers, dates, facts, the political and legal situation as well as opportunities and problems, and leaves enough room for your own questions and suggestions, which (at least with our tour) are exciting Have resulted in discussions. A huge compliment to our guide Barbara, whose fighting spirit - especially in view of her difficult fate - impressed us all!
