I really enjoyed it! I am a fan of classical music and Vivaldi, but I've never been to a concert of this sort, so I'm no expert in the subject. I only know the compositions. The band performed beautifully and the company staff were superb. I advise you to come as early as possible because there are very few seats with a decent view to the stage (this is valid for catg. III and II) and try to go to the bathroom before the concert since there isn't one in the church.

Beautiful building, beautiful music, and talented musicians! The only note I would have is that depending on where you sit in the church, the acoustics can muddy the sound somewhat. Also, the lift was out of order so construction scaffolding in the church obstructed taking nice pictures. Other than those minor things, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful evening of music in "inner city" Vienna.

We had gone to a concert at Mozarthaus the night before and were so disappointed. Two of four musicians forgot their music. It was clear throughout that they simply did not care. Our fabulous experience at Karlskirche could not have been more different or better. The musicians were prepared and totally engaged. A wonderful evening. By the time I bought tickets, the only availability was up in the loft. In the future, I would try to get seats on the msin floor.
