Free transfer with any bus, tram or train in the city of Vienna. We were able to use the CAT to the airport but we could not use the cart from airport to the city. We had the voucher to exchange but the Tourist info Vienna office at the airport closes at 22:00. I had to pay 55 euros for taxi. We were there one hour after that so we could not validate our vouchers. We also had to pay 2.60 euro each to reach to the nearest meeting point in Albertinaplatz/Maysedergasse. So there is no need to book from Get your Guide! I will take my cards next time directly from tourist info Vienna!

We forgot to pick up our Vienna Citycard at the airport and we could only pick it up at a few locations. It would’ve been handier if there were more locations to pick up the card. The discounts that come with the card were okay. We didn’t use it because you still had to pay a lot.

Value for Money

Definitely useful for the 72 hour period as can use the Vienna City card on buses, trams and metro. Only thing it does not cover is the fee to travel across the small border, tickets for this have to e purchased separately and they only cost 1 euro 80 cents each.
