    Experience the stunning beauty of Wachau Valley and sample its white wines on a guided day trip from Vienna. Hop on a river cruise down the Danube from Spitz to Melk. Visit Melk Abbey and Weissenkirchen. Stop at a family-run tavern in Dürnstein to taste liqueurs, wines, and local delicacies.

    Start the trip from Vienna and travel in a van through narrow countryside roads into the heart of the Wachau Valley.     Yolo was great! Yes that is his name! He was very informative from the start of the tour. He even changed the pick up location the day before in concern of protestors the day of the tour. Yolo loves the Wachua Valley as they do him. Knows his way around the valley and the really good wines. Great tour!

    Great to get out of Vienna and see/learn about grapes, wine, the Danube River, and Wachau Valley. For me the tour was much more than the wine. The lunch under walnut trees was great. I think the two-hour "cruise" on the Danube was fine too. It was soo relaxing sitting in the sun on the top deck I soon fell asleep!! I wish we could have gone into the abbey at Melk.

    An amazing day from start to finish! You don't need to be a lover of wine to enjoy this execurison. It's intimate, due to small group, filled with visits to several attractions along the valley. Our tour guide, Iolo, was great fun, full of stories and always great with answering any questiond. Highly recommend this trip.
