Situated at the middle of a trade route between the northern Adriatic Sea and the Danube region, it was the historical capital of Carniola, one of the Slovene-inhabited parts of the Habsburg monarchy

Our professional tour guide will shortly explain you city and country history and will point you out all important sites in Ljubljana and also about all myths from Ljubljana, such as Dragon Bridge and its symbol. It is depicted on the top of the tower of Ljubljana Castle in the Ljubljana coat of arms and on the Ljubljanica-crossing Dragon Bridge. It represents power, courage, and greatness. The central square in Ljubljana is Prešeren Square, home to the Franciscan Church of the Annunciation, from where you can visit Town Square, where is also Town Hall, the seat of city government. After your walking tour in Ljubljana, you will have a short time for a walking in Old Town and for a lunch. After, you will go to Lake Bled and Island Bled. Lake Bled is a lake in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia, where it adjoins the town of Bled. The island has several buildings, the main one being the pilgrimage church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. Medieval Bled Castle stands above the lake on the north shore and has a museum.
