The museum was excellent, not to be missed and given 4-5 hours to really enjoy and relish it. My complaint is with the vendor. The ticket at the museum ticket window was € 42 for 2 persons. Why was I charged 54 euros by the get your guide for advance booking through the app? The write up on this attraction on the app is somewhat misleading, making it out that advance booking meant we would avoid the queue. It is misleading as the vouchers have to converted to actual tickets at the ticket window - so there’s no avoiding the line (if there’s one). Fortunately , we did not have to stand in a line to get our tickets as there was no crowd. So, pl review how this tour is sold on the app

Great Museum! Absolutely great exhibition! Though be prepared! The museum is vast and in order to see everything in detail you need a good 3-4 hours. I'd suggest to not combine the visit to this museum with any more than one other museum or palace in Vienna as it turns out to be exhausting.

So much historical art that you can't take it all in in a day - not without a coffee and apfelstrudel break upstairs in the restaurant! The exhibition seems to go for ever especially if you look at everything that is in there - from about 400AD to the 19th century. Give yourself at least a half day and more if you want to see the art exhibiton upstairs! Beautiful exhibition and building.
