The woman leading the Monday Jewish Tour was fantastic

The woman leading the Monday Jewish Tour provided an excellent background to the Jews in Austria dating back as far as the medieval period till today. Beyond her knowledge base she provided so much energy to the history and understanding of what Jews had been through that it left us mesmerised. We can't thank her enough. Ah Fang & Steve

Very informative and enjoyable.

This was a great tour! We have found from traveling on two Risk Steves tours that having a guided tour really opens up a city's history and adds so much to the traveling experience. Since we came to Vienna on our own we decided to book this tour (instead of just going to museums) and it certainly met our expectations. Barbara was very friendly and knowledgeable. She provided great background on the political/economic situation that led up to the Holocaust.

Great dynamic insightful tour

I thoroughly enjoyed this Jewish Vienna tour. You gain unparallelled insight into the history of the Jews in Vienna, from the Middle Ages until now. The walk covered just a few hundred metres in total but was packed with insightful stories. Tour guide Barbara's passion for the subject gave the tour an excellent dynamic. The tour was bilingual and despite Barbara's effortless switches between English and German slowed it down a little. Overall a really good experience.
