We booked this tour last minute and wow we are so glad we did. What a beautiful place. We booked a walking guide and Milan was excellent for us. He gave great historic insights and some nice interaction with myself and my husband. Lunch was included in a local bistro. It was lovely, maybe not our cup of tea, but it was well cooked and the staff were warm and welcoming. The bus was excellent, very modern and comfortable
Great value for an unforgettable night! Special thanks to the restaurant management for accommodating my vegetarian request - the spinach torte was fantastic! Loved the performances and how interactive/varied they were. Was not expecting dancers and singers! The venue is beautiful - keep in mind you will not actually be inside the palace, rather in a performing arts center just to the left.
Cornelius gave an excellent wine tasting. He was able to combine the history of Vienna with the development of the wine industry. He designed our tasting, based on our preferences. We have lived in Vienna for many years, and he was able to expand our knowledge of Austrian wine. The visit to the historic cellar was self guided.
Whole evening ran like clockwork. Very nice meal with excellent service followed by a lovely concert. Very windy evening & a bit of a walk between the restaurant & concert theatre so we did need proper outerwear, so a word of warning to others - you may need a brolly!
Wolfi gave us an amazing tour. He showed us places we never would have seen without his guidance! He’s charming and knowledgeable. We even learned how to use the wonderful transit system with him. Don’t miss this tour! It was a perfect intro to Vienna!
