The kayaking tour was a surprise birthday gift for my boyfriend. We had so much fun! James was a great guide, experienced, he's been giving kayaking tours and wine tours in Vienna for a couple of years now and took care of everything for us - we got to just enjoy the water and the tour of the city from the Old Danube. l am a local in Vienna, but found the tour to be a real treat providing me with new insights into my city. It was a relaxing, beautiful day out on the water, paddling, swimming and learning about Vienna. I liked our small group of people on the tour and fell in love with my city in a whole new way. Highly recommended.
Free transfer with any bus, tram or train in the city of Vienna. We were able to use the CAT to the airport but we could not use the cart from airport to the city. We had the voucher to exchange but the Tourist info Vienna office at the airport closes at 22:00. I had to pay 55 euros for taxi. We were there one hour after that so we could not validate our vouchers. We also had to pay 2.60 euro each to reach to the nearest meeting point in Albertinaplatz/Maysedergasse. So there is no need to book from Get your Guide! I will take my cards next time directly from tourist info Vienna!
2 day Pass was good, still have to go to the ticket office to get your pass as electronic pass is not valid. Website needs to be updated as office has moved (Google maps the location!! don't go off website address) & also opens at 9am not 10am as website states. So wasted as hour on the first day.
We forgot to pick up our Vienna Citycard at the airport and we could only pick it up at a few locations. It would’ve been handier if there were more locations to pick up the card. The discounts that come with the card were okay. We didn’t use it because you still had to pay a lot.
with the purchase of this card, u save time on buying a ticket every time u use the transport system here. plus it's more economical for ur pocket. it definitely worths the purchase.
