Start the tour at the Vienna State Opera and walk to the Imperial Crypt. The Imperial Crypt is located under the Capuchin Church and was designed for the former members of the Austrian Habsburg dynasty.
Continue on along Kärntnerstraße, past Stephansplatz and along the famous Graben towards Kohlmarkt. Here you will find numerous shops, jewelers, and perfumeries. After looking in the display windows of the exclusive boutiques, you will continue on to Heldenplatz, which is dominated by the monumental equestrian statue of Prince Eugene and Archduke Charles.
Visit the Hofburg Palace, which was the seat of government for the Habsburgs for over 7 centuries. Admire the Gothic chapel, which is still reminiscent of the castle, and walk on to the Spanish Riding School, where Vienna's famous Lipizzan ballet is shown in the baroque ambiance.
At the end of the tour you will see the Albertina, an art museum with one of the largest and most valuable graphic art collections in the world. Here you can admire various masterpieces including Dürer's "Young Hare" and Klimt's female studies.
