    ... simon is a perfect guide - competent, friendly, following the tempo of the guests, you can ask nearly everything - not only about the falls but also about culture, nature and life in zimbabwe/ zambia in general, we enjoyed that tour a lot, some in the net recommend to visit the falls on your own, i would agree with that if you have been there before and now plan to invest a whole day to hunt for the best photoshoped instagram shot, but if you explore the falls for the first time and are interested in more than just fb-pix i would always recommend to hire one of those guides, they know the personel at the entrance, they know the best spots, they have the info behind and they know best when and where to take on the rain capes.... last but not least you are picked up at and returned to the lodge safely, in our opinion absolutely worth the money if visiting the falls for the first time
