It was the most beautiful experience. the driver was friendly the captain was a great host the snacks were good the experience was the highlight, just sailing down the Zambezi watching hippos, ellies, crocodiles and more hippos. beautiful African sunset

Full description

The Zambezi Sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photographic opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline. You may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, buffalo, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species. Whilst cruising, you will be served snacks, beer, wines, local spirits, and soft drinks, all are available on board. The cruise takes about 2 and a half hours. Your guide will pick you up at the hotel for a short transfer to the jetty site where you will board your boat for the sunset cruise. Enjoy and experience the sun setting. Once the sun sets, your driver will drop you off at the lodge or hotel.

The tour guide was excellent & made the cruise memorable. We celebrated my birthday, and also got the first rain of the season. We got a little wet, but it was all part of our memories. The staff were all great - tourguide, waiters, barmen. The drinks had a good variety to choose from. We were disappointed in the food/snacks that was served.. For the cost charged per person we feel the taste(finger snacks were dry & tasteless) and amount of food served per person could definitely improve. Beautiful sunset & loads of hippos in the water, also saw cross, bird species, Buffalo. Thank you for the warm friendly staff!
