The itinerary is interesting and covers a lot of ground during the day. Everything was well managed by our wonderful guide, Andrea, from Hungary. Andrea drove professionally, provided ongoing stories and information about the locations and was very supportive to all of the attendees. It was fantastic! There was not a single problem and the stops allowed enough time to get a feeling for each location. The ferry rides were beautiful and no delays. Everything was a wonderful experience and I felt lucky to see all of the Christmas lights and displays in Victoria and Butchart Gardens. This is a great day trip!

Our driver and guide Andrea was amazing! She was an excellent driver, gave wonderful tips for each stop we made, and was incredibly knowledgeable. She was friendly, funny and kind. We didn’t have a single care on our entire excursion of 12 hours from Vancouver to Victoria. She is a gem!

Full description

Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in downtown Vancover, and then board the boat at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal to take a scenic 1.5-hour cruise around the Gulf Islands. Look for marine wildlife on the outdoor deck as you make your way to Schwartz Bay on Vancouver Island. Drop anchor to explore the provincial capital of British Columbia. Get a short introduction to Victoria and enjoy some free time to look inside the unique shops of Government Street and Chinatown. Stroll along the Inner Harbour and get amazing ocean views. Take souvenir photos of the festive decorations of the Victoria Parliament Building and Fairmont Empress Hotel. Continue to the botanical paradise of Butchart Gardens and wander through a series of themed gardens to see the Christmas lights and holiday wreaths. Hear carols being sung and much more to experience the Magic of Christmas. Return to Schwartz Bay for the bus and ferry journey back to Vancouver.
