Sample local specialties based on the availability of raw ingredients, the season, and chef's recommendations on the day. Sip a glass of wine at a local tavern, try some fresh handmade pasta in a modern and welcoming gastronomic setting that has become a point of reference for the Veronese. Taste Verona-style codfish using a recipe appreciated throughout the province, some delicious 'pastissada' or polenta with 'soppressa'. Wij komen al jaren naar het Gardameer en bezoeken altijd Verona. Wilden eens wat anders en daarom een Food tour gekozen. Onze geweldige gids Giulia heeft ons naar plekjes gebracht waar wij nimmer zijn geweest met de daarbijbehorende verhalen cq informatie. Eten was een belevenis en verraste ons compleet met oa pasta met brandnetel saus en paardenstoofvlees. De Food tour begon om 11.00 en om 16.00 was het einde. Daarna ook niks meer gegeten want zoals vooraf werd aangegeven “ we will eat a lot” Nou dat was het zekers

The guide was fantastic and gave us such a wonderful experience. Her knowledge of so many different things gave us a tour we could not have done for ourselves. We would definitely recommend this to anyone. The food and wine was delicious and so good to try something new and local.
