Full description

Meet the guide/driver in the city center, take a seat in a comfortable air-conditioned van, and start to enjoy this relaxed half-day tour in the Valpolicella wine region. During the journey, your guide will tell you about the local wines and the Valpolicella valley. Then, arrive at a beautiful winery, located in the heart of Valpolicella. Here an expert sommelier will show you the wine cellar and explain the secrets of production and show you how the wine is kept. Afterward, sit around the table to taste some chosen wines, including the great Amarone. After taking some beautiful pictures in the gardens and vineyards, get back on board the van and make your way to the second winery for another tasting. After the tasting, you'll head back to Verona.

Stefano provided an excellent experience combining a history of Verona along with an interesting education of Valpolicella and the famous Amarone. Both wineries we visited were fantastic and transportation in a comfortable van was perfect. This tour is great for novice wine lovers and also for those who want a fun afternoon with like minded people and a great guide.
