Full description

Meet the guide/driver in the city center, take a seat in a comfortable air-conditioned van, and start to enjoy this relaxed half-day tour in the Valpolicella wine region. During the journey, your guide will tell you about the local wines and the Valpolicella valley. Then, arrive at a beautiful winery, located in the heart of Valpolicella. Here an expert sommelier will show you the wine cellar and explain the secrets of production and show you how the wine is kept. Afterward, sit around the table to taste some chosen wines, including the great Amarone.

After taking some beautiful pictures in the gardens and vineyards, get back on board the van and make your way to the second winery for another tasting. After the tasting, you'll head back to Verona.

The tour was extremly awesome. I am South Korean traveling with my parents, and this experience was one of the best we’ve done in Italy. Our guide was Leonardo. He was so kind and talented in telling stories about his hometown Valpolicella. Everything was so smooth that my parents also loved the tour so much. The wine and the foods were excellent and the scenery of winery was so beautiful. It was such a nice experience making friends with kind and smart Italians. The best guide and the driver. 부모님 모시고 한 투어였는데 너무나 친절하고 똑똑란 가이드님이 함께해주셨어요. 친절한 멋쟁이 기사님까지 정말 완벽한 투어였어요. 영어 되시는 분들은 정말 강추합니다.

This was a nice tour of a couple of wineries in the Valpolicella region. We were shown the production areas and explained how the wines are made. This was followed by a nice wine tasting including some meats and cheeses from the area to accompany the wines.

I really enjoyed this afternoon of wine tasting. Serena was entertaining and knowledgeable. We went to 2 different wineries about 30 minutes outside of Verona. The first was a small, family owned winery out in the countryside. Wines were great and we sat outside at a picnic table enjoying a fabulous view and delicious salami & cheese with our wines. The second was a big well known brand winery. Interesting production line. They chose these 2 so we could see the difference and compare. I personally enjoyed the smaller more intimate winery. It can be arranged for wine to be shipped home for you. It was a fun afternoon and nice to get out of the city. Very nice van transportation.
