Full description
Explore the essence of Italian cooking at a hands-on cooking class in the historic heart of Verona, and prepare and cook a traditional meal using the freshest ingredients and basic techniques to enhance the natural flavors of food. You will learn to appreciate simple Italian cooking using fresh, high quality ingredients that don’t require a lot of complicated techniques to release their flavor. Based on the Mediterranean diet, each class prepares a classic dish in a professional kitchen. Your chef will take you through easy-to-learn techniques to make fresh pasta, risotto (made with local rice), and tiramisù, the typical Italian dessert. By the end of your seminar you will feel confident to cook like an Italian, making healthy and tasty recipes that you can recreate at home.

All the other reviews are true! The class was amazing and Christina is really good at what she does. She's very passionate, takes her time and answers all questions you might have. She's constantly checking how everyone is doing and gives positive reinforcement. She explained everything in such a way that it's super easy to do it yourself at home but the taste of the food is still restaurant quality. On top of that she changed some ingredients/dishes because I'm lactose intolerant so that was very thoughtful and kind of her. I wish I stayed longer in Verona so I could have taken her other classes!

Christina was great! She took us through all her techniques for making a red wine risotto, pasta, pasta sauce and tiramisu. Then we all sat together to eat it all with a glass of wine. It was a lovely way to spend four hours and I learned where I was going wrong with my Italian cooking.

Christina was fabulous! We created the most delicious meal! Risotto with fresh vegtables, pasta made from scratch and tiramisu! My husband and I were there with our 4 adult children and we had so much fun cookng and learning from our Chef! The recipies were simple, but she gave us such good directions and helpful hints so we can recreate the dishes at home. This was one of the highlights of our Italian holiday. It was a true authentic way to experience delicious italian culture.
