Full description
Look over the sights of Verona 84 meters above street level with an entry ticket to the Medieval Tower of Lamberti, still in use as a clock tower for the city. This tower is located in the heart of the city center, Piazza delle Erbe, a few minutes walk from the most important attractions of Balcone di Giulietta and Arena. If you're feeling sporty, 289 steps are waiting for you! Or, if you simply want to get to the top as fast and easy as possible, you can take the internal elevator to the terraces to admire the characteristic spires from a fresh perspective. After your visit to the tower, you can access the adjacent Gallery of Modern Art located in Palazzo della Ragione, a historical palace from the twelfth century.

Even with the pre-booked tickets, we had to queue like everyone else, which was manageable with about 30 minutes. I asked again at the cash register, but was turned down relatively harshly. The vouchers then have to be converted into cards at the checkout. (So there was no advantage at all to have bought the tickets in advance!) Since we had already covered a few kilometers including a rafting tour on the Adige, we took the elevator up. The experience was great in bright sunshine, the view should not be missed.

The tour starts with the tower, (entrance is downstairs right outside the ticket door) then the gallery up the stairs in the square. There are lockers to keep your items in while you walk around the gallery and tower as well! There are both stairs and an elevator to get to the top

    Wonderful Views

There are wonderful views from the top of the tower. You can either walk to the top or take an elevator. Would highly recommend purchasing tickets to climb the tower if you are in Verona, as it is only a small city and so you are able to see the vast majority of it from the top. The queue wasn't especially long whatsoever but we were able to walk to the front.
