We had an amazing trip with Carlos! He shared so many bits of info as we drove to the Dolomites and then we had the perfect amount of time at Lake Misurina where we did some hiking and got lunch, and Cortina where we got time to walk around and take in all the beautiful views!

What a fantastic day! Our guide was brilliant, so friendly and informative. He made us all feel relaxed and kept us entertained (I can’t remember his name but he was the gentleman from Florence). The weather was amazing which meant the views were stunning. Lots of stops for photos. The views were some of the best I have seen. Would highly recommend!

Full description

Our Small Group day tour to Unesco world heritage Dolomites Mountains very early departure is to guarantee a better experience in an area that year after year has seen a growing number of visitors . Leaving early will allow us to beat the crowds and enjoy an overall more rewarding experience. The tour features the famous Dolomites town of Cortina, the awe-inspiring Tre Cime di Lavaredo that you will see from various scenic viewpoints, and the beautiful mountain Lakes. Spend plenty of time at lake Misurina, where you’ll have the opportunity to walk around the lake, stop at one of the nice restaurants around the lake or in summer take a cable lift up to Col De Varda ( not included in the price- about 13 € per person) mountain hut for walking opportunities and offering enchanting views over Lake Misurina and the famous Dolomites mountain ranges, such as Sorapis and Mount Cristallo. Enjoy numerous scenic stops at panoramic viewpoints throughout the day before returning back to Venice at about 6.00pm

In Winter months we will feature Cortina, Enchanting Lake Braies and the beautiful village of San Candido right on the border with Austria. Christhmas markets in the village to be enjoyed until beginning of January.

Meeting point

Waterbus N 2 will take you to Tronchetto ( do not stop at Tronchetto Mercato which is before the stop TRONCHETTO) When you get off, RE MIDA Cafe' is right in front of you . The driver will wait with a sign with "Dolomites Day Tour " written on it. Please be there by 745am.

Know before you go

  • Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
  • At least 5 fully paying people are required for this activity to take place.
  • Maximum group size is 8 people per van.
  • Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked tour start time. The tour starts strictly at 8.00am.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please inform Avventure Bellissime if an infant seat is required.
  • From November 15th to when Tre Cime are open this tour will include a visit to San Candido and lake Braies.
  • From November 23rd to January 6th this tour will include a visit to San Candido Christmas Market.
  • At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time.
  • All passengers pay the same rate irrespectively from their age.

This day trip was one of the best tours we took on our recent 16 day trip. The small group of only 8 travelers made the day even better. The journey to our destinations was just beautiful. My husband and I were worried that a 10 hour tour would be too long since it was our last full day of vacation. However, the day flew by. The views were breathtaking. Marco, our guide, was amazing! He made some unplanned stops for our group to fully enjoy sites along the way and even made sure to take pictures of each couple if desired. This is a trip that should not be missed!
