The tour guide was very friendly and informative. We have been on a few other food tours and decided to skip meals prior to this one as there is generally so much food but this was different- the food we tried was good but really small portions and there was a lot of walking prior to the tastings- by the time we started to eat we were not feeling like trying something we were unsure of as we really just needed to eat something. One suggestion for the guide would be to have the more "adventurous foods" as she called them- the creamed fish or saor sardines for example cut up into bite-sized portions for everyone to sample as we were not confident enough to commit to something we were unsure of with how hungry we were. We covered a lot of ground in the tour and there was no water/beverages included so come prepared! Overall, it was a good experience but it did seem a bit pricey for what we got to enjoy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Julia. She was enthusiastic about Venice and the authentic cuisine. We sampled a number of cicchetti from several different restaurants. Each was delicious. She also gave insight into what was found locally, what we should try & a number of restaurants to try. We would highly recommend this tour & Julia as a guide

Dennis, our guide was very entertaining and informative. Enjoyed variety of food tastings and pleased to sample some lesser known foods. Howewer we paid £41 each and felt this was overpriced for the amount of food tastings. Would recommend they include complimentary drink. Dennis provided list of recommended eateries at the end of the tour.
