Excellent guide
We truly enjoyed our after hours tour of St. Mark's Basilica. While the cathedral is unquestionably beautiful during the daylight hours...it is absolutely magnificent when lit from within during the evening hours. Our tour guide, Gabriella, was a delight. She was extremely knowledgeable not only about the history of this incredible cathedral... but also of its architecture and unbelievable artwork including the mosaics, the domes themselves , the columns, the various marbles used throughout and their origins, the jeweled tapestries, the crypts, and so much more. Our time in Venice was made so much more memorable having taken this fabulous tour. Grazie!!Five stars!!
