    Of course, riding in a private gondola in Venice was amazing. We will never forget it! :) However, the man who was steering the gondola hardly spoke to us, and when it was time for the tour to end, he dropped us off in some unknown area where we needed to navigate ourselves back... no pictures were offered to be taken, and the drop-off was hasty and felt rushed. For the amount we paid, we were hoping it would have been a more interactive and welcoming experience.

    I can say, I did it once ...

    Almost 160 euros for a 20-25 minute ride - if you really need it ... I thought it was a must in Venice - I hoped for more. The gondolier was nice - did not call on the phone and named 2 special houses. Sung was not - not even on demand. Supposedly only in the evening. We were there earlier than planned and were then admitted - booking in advance is not really necessary. Nowhere has a snake formed at the price.
