  • The Museum is closed on Monday.
  • Every Friday and Saturday, until Saturday September 30, 2023, and on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 August, 2023, the museum is open until 8 PM (last entrance at 7 PM).

This was a fantastic museum! The Dinosaur and fossils were definitely the highlight for me but the collections housed here are quite impressive. Do note that this is very much an old school natural history museum and as such features a lot of taxidermy. The displays didn't bother me much but did find the trophy room unpleasant. That could be updated. You can store your backpack in a locker plus there's a small shop and toilets.

This place was so neat, my husband and I loved it. I think this place could be family friendly but for small kids be warned that there are lots of taxidermy animals that might scare them. The only reason I’m giving a 4/5 is because we did not have anything in English to help guide us so we just looked around and if we saw a sign that we wanted to know what it said we used a translation app.
