The only issue we had was the 2 minutes it took to find the booth. Seriously- 2 minutes. They were ready for us, and the walk though long to the dock was great after sitting for more than 8 hours. The cruise into Venice was a fantastic way to be introduced to the city. We were dropped off at a spot 6 minutes from our hotel and I don’t think you could get much closer. THIS IS A WORTHWHILE EXPERIENCE!

I paid for a shared taxi but there was nobody else on board, so it turned out to be a private taxi but without the extra cost! No better way to arrive at a waterfront hotel. The only slight drawback is that the embarcation point is a little way from the airport terminal and the route is not clearly signposted. However, I was pointed in the general direction by the lady at the meeting desk and it probably would have been difficult to miss it.
