Easy to book especially if you have the app downloaded. Keep in mind that when you book this service, you HAVE TO *exit* baggage claim, and (as of March 2023) the kiosk to get your slip for the water taxi, is down the hallway to the left. We had a bit of a hard time finding it. You may also have to wait up to 35-40 mins if you’re the first to arrive BUT you may end up getting the whole taxi to yourself if no one else shows up. In our case, we arrived on a Tuesday at 12:30pm heading towards Rialto, and no one else was headed that way so after waiting for close to 40 mins the attendant said we could have the taxi to ourselves which made the wait worth it, and the water taxi itself was beautiful and modern looking. In short: I definitely recommend!!

This was a great way to get to my hotel. I will warn people it is a decent walk from the airport to the boat and you’ll have to bring your own luggage. It wasn’t bad but I did take maybe 10 minutes. So just be warned. The boat was small but comfortable and it was a great way to see some of the city ahead of time. I only had a very short walk to my hotel, and I was very pleased with the experience, especially for the cost! I would highly recommend.

Short wait at the airport then a shared water taxi into Venice. Very helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyable across the lagoon, along the grand canal, some dropped at the door of their hotel, we were 100m easy walk, and our friends were right, water taxi is the best way to arrive.
