Our guide was fantastic. She stated at the beginning it was a historical and not a religious tour. She was informative and more than professional when a unruly and rude tour participant, who decided to bring a fussy baby on the tour, was blaming the tour guide for answering her question. Despite this attack from the tour participant, she was always kind, informative and was interested in our questions, which lead to unrestricted and open discussions. We found her very accommodating and well prepared. Would highly recommend her for the future.
Carla was an excellent tour guide. She shared a bit of herself, in ways that helped us learn about Venice, learned and used our names, helping us engage and connect to the info. We leaned about Venice in general, and specifics about Jewish life through the ages. Appreciated the small group of 10. Kept things moving and was mindful about the rain. Answered all of our questions. I would hire her as a private guide anytime.
