Full description
Experience Italian Opera in one of the most important Venetian-Gothic style palaces in Venice, Palazzo Barbarigo-Minotto. Within this historical venue, an innovative approach to opera has been conceived, with a formula that focuses on the interaction between the singers, the musicians, and the audience. This gives spectators the feeling of living Opera ‘from the inside’. This sensation is amplified by the clever 360-degree use of the ‘stage’ and by having the guests move through 3 different rooms within the Palazzo, one for each act of the show. The whole setting changes, not just the background. Reviving a tradition dating back to the late 1800s, this reimagining is brought to life by some of the finest lyrical voices, accompanied by a talented small group of strings and a piano: a virtuoso ensemble who performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world.

What a WONDERFUL experience! My HUSBAND (not partner) of 49 years and I enjoyed La Traviata tremendously! The singers were profound as were the instrumentalists: Pianist, cellist and violinist. I would go back in a heartbeat! The singers engaged the audience with their passionate voices. There were three acts and the audience moved from one room to two other rooms as the acts changed which made it personable. I was moved with compassion for Violetta. She made one's heart throb. Magical!

We sent to see Rigoletto in Venezia and it was my first expérience at an Opéra: how can i describe such a moment: a magical place, The Palazzo, the lady who welcomed us, and after all the Artists! Beautiful, magic pure! We enjoyed each second! Thank you, we would never forget it!

The opera was a highlight of our Venice trip! The historic mansion on the Grand Canal was the most gorgeous location. Being that it was a smaller audience, the performance felt way more intimate and engaging. We enjoyed moving rooms for each act and it helped in the storytelling. The performers were so talented! The intermission with complimentary drinks was lovely, especially the peach juice. Highly recommend this experience!!
