Enjoy a boat taxi ride through Venice’s lesser-known canals. Admire the city from the water while riding past highlights such as Rialto and San Marco, and continue into the Cannaregio or Castello neighborhood. Enjoy an aperitivo stop in San Marco Bay.
What to Expect
Your 2-hour Venice boat tour begins in the heart of the city at the Rialto fish market pier. Climb into an oh-so-stylish Venetian canal taxi that will take you along the Grand Canal, and beneath the iconic Rialto Bridge.
Head deep into the Venice canal system, exploring the smaller canals and passing through lesser-known parts of the city, such as the site of the historical city hospital, or the cemetery island of San Michele.
Continue on through the Cannaregio area, a residential area that’s home to the Jewish Ghetto, Maddona dell’Orto Church, and Campo dei Mori.
You’ll return to the Canal Grande, admiring palaces and houses of nobility, making an aperitivo stop in San Marco Bay. Sip Prosecco and sample some homemade cicchetti as the sun sets.
The tour finishes on land at San Marco Square, close to most city hotels.
