the open air boat was a fun ride over to the island. they told you things about the area as you went across. there were bathrooms on board which was a plus. it would have been nice to have a snack bar with drinks available for the ride. (we brought water bottles but drank them very quickly). you get off the boat into a short glass blowing demonstration and then thru that company's shop. the outside area and walking around in Murano is so cute. it would have been nice to have a little more time on Murano. then you ride over to Burano - another 30 min ride on the boat. Burano is so cute, all the colorful houses. walking around was nice and we had a great lunch at one of the restaurants there. again, would have been nice to have a little more time there. the ride back is an hour but the breeze was nice. overall, a great trip. we learned a lot, did some shopping and had a good experience.

The glass blowing demonstration was amazing to watch- such artistry. The boat ride was smooth and a refreshing way to spend the day. Burano was charming. My only complaint is that I wish I had more time to explore each island.
