The whole Trip was excellent but it would have been nicer to have more time at Murano. Right after the glass factory visit and shopping at the factory’s shop we hardly had any time left to walk around the actual town. So best is to choose a trip that clearly mentions extra time after glass factory visit. Burano was great!!

This activity is good but our guide wasn't comfortable with his English translations. Murano was lovely - the demonstration was short and we had no time to explore the island of Murano. On Burano, several shops and restaurants were closed. Boat was nice but no bathroom on board and on the way back to Venice, it was too cold to be out on deck.

Burano is charming and was buzzing and bright the day we visited. Beautiful.Which was a complete contrast to Murano which was a little disappointing and for sure there was no time to see anything of the Island. The glass blowing tour was underwhelming and too much focus on the current challenges rather than explaining the magical origins or historical highlights. It felt sad and like a very ‘hard’ sell in the shop, where certainly the staff who were trying there best to sell to us did not know what stock they had in the shop. It felt evident they might be having financial problems. This is not a mass production unit and there are some beautiful pieces if you have room in your case (shipping/duties expensive) Be aware of the glass sold in Venice itself, there are a lot of fakes. We would go again via the water buses and have more time.
