Full description

Discover the origins and history of Prosecco's most famous sparkling Italian wine on this full-day tour. Meet your wine expert guide in Piazzale Roma, close to the historical center of Venice, and enjoy the drive towards the region where prosecco is produced in a comfortable van. During your trip, you will pass by the original region of Prosecco, Conegliano Valdobbiadene, a complex of small towns and expanses of vineyards. Visit 2 traditional wineries to learn all the secrets of Prosecco production and have 2 wine tasting sessions. First, stop at a family-run winery for a guided tour of the vineyards. Enjoy a tasting session paired with a light lunch with local products like cheese, salami, bread, and seasonal vegetables. After lunch with a view, head to the second winery to meet the winemaker for a guided tour of the production. Learn more about the Charmat method and a second wine-tasting session. At the end of this trip to the magical world of Prosecco land, return to the starting point.

Alice was a great tour guide/driver. she even stopped for us to see a beautiful overlook site since it wasn't hazy. the two smaller vineyards we went to were amazing. the prosecco was delicious and they both took the time to explain the process. You could feel their pride and genuine passion for their craft.

A really great trip to see the area where Prosecco comes from, such a beautiful area, the trip was informative and really enjoyable and our guide Francesca was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. I’d recommend this trip to anyone with an Interest in Prosecco who wants to learn a bit more about how it’s made and the different types and what to look for in a good one. A really enjoyable day out.

This trip was absolutely amazing! Sebastian was very knowledgeable about the Prosecco region. We loved his stories and anecdotes about the area. The vineyards were delightful! Lunch on the terrace with the homemade meats and cheeses was delicious!! My husband loved the carmwlizwd leeks and the balsamic vinegar. We made a new friend, Pinot, the cat. Stopping at his in-laws home was such a wonderful part of the day. Our final vineyard also had a wonderful variety of wines. The adorable swing was fun for pictures! This was by far our most enjoyable experience in Italy!
